Joy School

Kari has been going to Joy School every Tuesday for the last month and is really enjoying it. Today, she got to go on a field trip to Bird World to see all the animals.

At the end of our time at Bird World, all the kids got their very own goldfish to take home. We tried for a while to think of a name for Kari's fish. I suggested, Goldie, Grandma, Suzie, etc. None of them were good enough, finally Kari said, "what if we just name her Fishy?" So that's the name.

Kari gets to keep her in her room and take care of her all by herself!

Kari even enjoyed looking at the snakes and lizards!

FRIENDS!

Friends are such a wonderful gift! Children are mostly pretty sweet when playing together. I love to sit back and watch my kids interact with their friends.

For a few weeks I got to watch a cute little girl named Keyaura. She is one month younger than Hayden and just a sweetheart. She seemed so little and fragile compared to my big guy. My kids had a blast with her. I think Kari would love to have a little sister... someday.

Kari playing with her cousins Alex and Porter. I think she is the Warrior Princess!

Kari loves to play with Hayden, even if he is a boy. She was enjoying playing "Hairstylist." I guess Hayden enjoyed it too!

Being loved by Mormor and Pappa!

All my friends from high school got together at a park with our families. Hayden played ball with this handsome guy, Wesley.

Kari and Kelsi loving their icecream cones at one of their sleepovers.

We just barely got to have Andrea spend a couple days with us and loved it! She is such a sweetheart and is welcome back any time! So are any of Heidi's kids.

Fun With DADDY!

I guess it's about time I got that yucky picture off the top of my blog. Nothing really exciting has happened which is probably why I haven't posted, but cute pictures have still been taken. Here are a few things that Daddy has been a part of.

If any of you have seen The Office, you'll appreciate these pictures. Buck had a wonderful idea for Halloween. He wanted Hayden and Kari to go as Jim and Pam. This was our attempt at doing Hayden's hair like Jim's to see if it would work out.

This is what happens when Daddy washes hair. Apparently he has a thing for hairstyles. Hayden's our sweet little "Wolverine."Dad hard at work in the yard. Luckily Hayden and Kari were there to help!

Kari had been off playing on her own for a little while, when she called me to the bathroom to see the "airplanes" she had made. Aren't they wonderful! She even matched up the colors of combs to make the airplanes a solid color. She even took her own pictures with her princess camera.

YUCK!!

Have you ever heard of "Ear Candling?" Buck had seen some companions do it on his mission, and Timmy and Sandi told us about it as well. We decided to try it. It is pretty crazy how well it works. You pretty much light a fire right next to your head and all your earwax gets sucked out the candle. I don't know how it did it, but it sure did a great job.

When the candle burns down to only 4 inches left you put out the flame. We decided to cut it open and see all the yucky earwax that got sucked out. Enjoy!

My BIG Little Guy!

Why do kids have to grow up so stinkin fast? Sometimes I just want them to stay small and unable to leave the spot you put them down in. Hayden is just over 7 months and he can already do so much!
He pulls himself up onto furniture and cruises around.
Standing up and playing the piano.
Already brushing his teeth. If you look closely you can see he has 5 teeth with the 6th barely poking through.Going camping! Climbing on everything he can find. Flying through the air with no fear! Standing up in the bath.

He started out scooting doing the army crawl, but that only lasted a couple weeks.

Now he can full out crawl, and get into everything!
