Bath Time Fun!!

How can you help but take pictures of little cutie patooties in a bath tub. Here are some of my favorites.

Kari loves to sing. A neighbor was babysitting Kari one evening when she started singing "I am a Child of God" in the middle of dinner. They all thought it was cute, so they stopped and listened. Once Kari was aware of that she stopped singing. Kari catches on the words very quickly, but struggles with the tune. Often times, she can sing a song after only hearing it a few times. What a smartie!

Andrea Robb's Baptism

Congratulations Andrea!!!

We were able to attend Andrea's baptism and confirmation on April 26th. We are so proud of her decision to become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Andrea is such a sweetheart and we just love being around her fun personality. I think she was the fastest clothes changer after a baptism that I have ever seen! She even beat her dad back out.

Kari enjoyed watching as Andrea was "dunked" under the water. It is so fascinating to see how children learn, grow, and react to things they don't quite understand.
I think Kari just had fun seeing family.

Gunnell Family Visit

We enjoyed having our first visitors since we moved into our house. Steve and Teresa Gunnell and their recently turned 1 year old boy, Ty, stayed with us this past weekend. They traveled from Arizona so they could attend Steve's cousin's wedding. The lucky couple was sealed by President Monson... WOW!! Steve and Teresa even got to shake the prophet's hand. We had a lot of fun with them in the time they were able to spend with us.

Kari and Ty enjoyed some bath time fun. Ty is a little flirt. If you look at him, he'll give you a sweet smile then shy away. I just love it.

We couldn't go a weekend without playing Hand and Foot once or twice.

Hayden's Blessing

Hayden's blessing was a great day and a spectacular event! We appreciate all the love and support of family and friends. Many of you traveled near and far to be there for us and we are grateful. We know that those who could not make it were still supporting us. We didn't get everyone in a picture, but please enjoy the ones we did.

Our house took a great deal of preparation and thought you may enjoy some before and after pics of our kitchen. We cannot express how lucky we are to have such supportive family and friends who were willing to spend many hours helping us with this greatly needed makeover.

Laughing Baby

Just thought this was a cute video of our kids. It shows Hayden's happy temperament and Kari's 6th sense for detecting CANDY!

Hayden's Arrival

Hayden James was born January 24, 2008, right on his due date. He was 8 lb 9 oz and 21 in long. Hayden was almost delivered in the waiting room at St. Mark's Hospital. Dad drove me to the hospital after about 1 1/2 hours of contractions under 5 min apart. We arrived at 11:00 am, only to find that all the labor rooms were full and we were to wait in the waiting room. An hour later, I was finally taken to a room. Once the nurse checked me, she said I was fully efaced(sp?) and asked if I knew what that meant. I said no, so she explained that she was going to get the doctor to break my water and I would deliver, without an epidural...NO TIME!! I was scared to death, but Hayden was born at 12:26 pm, about 15 minutes after my water was broken. I will never do that again by choice, but I was glad once it was over that I was able to experience it.

Thanks for the visits at the hospital, they really brightened our days!
