Kari is 4!

Happy Birthday to Kari Jo who is finally 4. We had a super party planned for her, but then it had to snow and many people couldn't travel. Luckily Grandma & Grandpa Porter could still make it. We also had a party with my side of the family, but I can't find those pictures.

She got some super cool Dora Rollerskates. She is already getting pretty good.

Kari with her birthday cake.

The super cute Frog Princess outfit from G & G Porter.

Some more clothes for my cute little Girly Girl.
Thank you to all who tried to make it. We are sure we will see you soon!

Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

Our first experience with Santa this year. The kids wouldn't sit by themselves.

Christmas morning!

Christmas Eve in jammies with cousins.

Grandma June's party!

Wow, what a handsome group.

Thanks Grandma June & Grandpa Kunz!

Kari made a gingerbread house at Joy School.

A much happier Kari with Santa.

Halloween

I guess it's about time I post Halloween since it is after Christmas now, but better late than never... right?

Visiting with Mormor and Papa. They are so sweet!

Even Papa dressed up for Halloween.

Kari's very own master piece. I am not quite sure what it is.

We had some friends over to carve pumpkins. I think they look fantastic!
Hayden's first pumpkin carving. He is so proud.

Buckula! I vant to suck your blood.

Trip to the Zoo

I got to go on a fun trip to the zoo with my sisters. Lindsay, Britany, DeAnne, Jen, me and all our kids. It was quite the experience, but well worth it. There were a lot of new babies there, even a monkey that had been born that same day.

I think Hayden felt pretty comfortable at the zoo. He sure enjoyed seeing all the animals, running all around making his excited noises.

I think they measure up great. At least mine act like monkeys all the time.

This giraffe was quite friendly, but I didn't mind.

We had 5 moms and 5 strollers. The Flammer stroller is missing because River was by us sleeping in it.

The kids just hanging out with some lions.

My cute little family in the company of some zebras.

Can't forget about the cute baby elephant!

Soo Domestic!

My mom taught me how to can peahes. It took most of a Saturday, but was well worth it! We also made lots of yummy jam.

Kari was a big help too!

Here is my mom showing off some of our hard work. We also ended up making strawberry and rasperry jam.

Here is a sampling of our beautiful finished product. Thanks mom!

Bathroom Update

We have been living with this big ugly crack along the counter since we moved in. Buck broke it when he put in a new light fixture above. We finally got a new cabinet and countertop in our guest bathroom.

After
We also updated the master bath. We painted the walls as well as replaced the cabinet and sink.

In the process of ripping out the old.

In with the new!

Sandbox!

Buck built this sandbox for the kids over a month ago. I stained a couple weeks back, and last night he finally got the chance to line it and fill it with sand. Yeah!!!

With just the lining.

Kari being such a big help wheelbarrowing over sand from the truck to the sandbox.

One of our new fun sand toys.

Just enjoing the new soft sand.

Kari raking in the sandbox. She is such a big helper. I was raking the dead spot that appeared after we dug out the spot for the sandbox, so I could seed it. Kari came over with her little rake and started helping.

Posing! They love to have pictures taken of them. The second they see a camera, they start cheesing it up!
